don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

three years ago today the best woman in the world, my mom, passed away. she taught me so much. she was the best example of kindness, charity, hard work, unconditional love, faith, and of course how to cook, how to make and keep a home, how to shop til you drop, and how to love every second of this precious time we have on earth. all that i am, that is good, is because of her. there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of her.

i carry your heart with me

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling) i fear
no fate (for you are my fate you sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and they sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Kristy, it is hard to believe that it has been 3 years. How we all miss her but i know not nearly as much as you. We love you so much, I hope that today has not been to tough on you. Just know that you truly are amazing!
