i've had a cough i can't get rid of for almost a month

meridith and jason had us for dinner sunday. they made cafe rio salads. they were so good! even better than the real thing. 

lincoln decided he'd potty train himself in a new way (he's already potty trained, and the toilet was clean, no worries). 

luke and lincoln (and i think meri and jason) have fallen in love with high school musical. lincoln just couldn't get close enough.

i was wandering around barnes and noble friday night and found this book. i started to read it and thought it was very clever. when i saw that a 4th grade wrote it i was so happy! i bought it on the spot. i've read it to everyone i know (sorry ben you've had to hear it so many times). i am going to read it to my class for valentines day, although most of them don't need help talking to ANYONE! here's a small piece to make you want to read it too!

caribbean christmas

my dad and mom went on many cruises together. my dad's been wanting to share the experience with our whole family for quite some time. this year for christmas we went on the ruby princess to the western caribbean. we went to jamaica, grand cayman, cozumel, and the bahamas. we had so much fun meeting people from around the world, swimming with dolphins, eating gourmet food, and being together. the only thing missing was my mom. 

i know slide shows aren't the most popular blogging tactic but here they are anyway. after putting all of our pictures together i didn't know what else to do. this isn't even half...enjoy! i know i will...

pepper nuts are a small, little, delightful cookie. i was lucky enough to spend the afternoon making them with my dear friend dawnell and her mom, my second mom, jeanine. who knew you could make about five thousand cookies in one batch!
