Wicked weekend

What a weekend...Friday was such great weather. Ben and I hung out on his hammock in his backyard. The stars made me
want to go to my cabin in Star Valley. Saturday I woke up late because I wasn't feeling well. But the day just got better. Ben and I had planned to make sushi so we went to the Asian market and bought what we needed. Jess had been planning on trying her luck at the Wicked lottery. We told her we'd go and help her get tickets. I have seen it three times so I didn't care too much. Ben hadn't seen it. So...we get to Capitol Theater. Put our names in the lottery. There were tons of people there. I kept saying we would get it over and over but in my mind really wasn't sure. After they called about four names the man in the witch hat called out Kristy Bott! I could not believe it. I went in, bought the tickets (thanks Ben) and walked outside. Jess and Kadee were super excited because I told them if Ben or I won they could have the tickets. Unfortunately, as soon as they called my name I knew I would be seeing Wicked again. I really wanted Ben to see it. I told Jess and Kadee that we would help them try to get tickets while it is still here. So needless to say, Ben and I saw Wicked Saturday night, 12th
row, 25 dollars a ticket. It was amazing. AMAZING! I could see it ten more times and be happy. But if I win tickets again, they are for my sister who really deserves them after I totally snitched her out of the ones I told her she could have.

Third times a charm

Tonight I got to see Wicked with some of my favorite people in the world. My sister Jess and cousins Vicki and Mandi. We had such a great time. The Salt Lake touring cast was amazing. I have now seen Wicked three times. Josh and Jennifer also saw it tonight. After they saw it, everyone in my family, including my Mom has seen it. The first time I saw it I was with my Mom. Because that is such a special memory Wicked means a lot to me. I love it love it love it!

Gardner Village

My Mom's twin sister Kathy came down Easter weekend. Grandma, her, Jess and me spent the day at Gardner Village. It was so much fun. Kathy looks (besides the hair) like my Mom. Talks like my Mom. Laughs like my Mom. It was nice to have that sound around for Easter...

Easter

in no particular order...
Lincoln pulling a face.

Luke and his big blue eyes.

Cady on the broken tire swing.
Does Grandpa know about that yet?

Landon on the monkey swing.

Cullen helping Landon get on the monkey swing.

Horse face of course.

The non existent Easter pedicures.

My chocolate egg from Dad.

At the Bountiful Temple.

The best most yummiest cupcakes ever.
Carrot cupcakes, cream cheese frosting.
Heavenly.

Have I mentioned I love music?

I love when I find new songs so enjoy. Last night on American Idol Kris Allen sang this song. I like his version even better than the original. I found this video montage of the song online. It's great! Enjoy!

I am the luckiest

I think it is so important to remember how lucky we are, no matter what. I might not even call it luck, more like blessed. Ben Folds has been able to say it the best for me lately.

Everybody knows, it sucks to grow up

Ben Folds stole the words right from my mouth.
